SHU IDEA Lab

The Idea Lab at Sacred Heart University is open to all faculty and staff who want to learn, create, build, or design something. We give the opportunity to make one’s ideas become reality! Students and staff can book an appointment to get trained on equipment that they would like to use. This allows them to use the equipment whenever they want during our open hours. Our space is open from 12-8pm every day, except from 12-10pm on Thursday’s. Each week, we offer at least one workshop on Thursday evenings at 8:30pm, free of charge. Each Thursday evening from 6-10pm, everyone is welcome in the space to work on their own projects. Also, once a month we offer an event, typically theme based, free of charge. These consist of a handful of workshops for students and staff to take part in. Furthermore, faculty and clubs can book the space to use for their weekly meetings throughout the semester.
