The heat and mug presses are machines that allow users to print full-color custom designs on a variety of materials. Both machines retrieve the desired design from our Sawgrass sublimation printer.
To be allowed to use the heat press, you must watch all training videos, 100% the required quiz, and perform a test print to show that you are able to use the machines safely.

Cheat Sheet:
- Make sure you are being assisted by staff unless told otherwise/were approved
- Pre-heat sublimation machine
- Poly settings – Temp(SP): 400 degrees Time(ST): 30 seconds
- T-shirt for sublimation must be polyester for transfer to come out correctly
- While preheating log onto creative studio
- Select design
- Press print
- Once print preview pops up in bottom right corner click it
- Sawgrass will ask you to print again
- Make sure all the settings are correct (poly & right ink selected)
- While printing is in progress press material in the iron press without any sublimation ink/paper on fabric
- Leave pressed/ironed shirt
- Once these steps are done design should be printed
- Cut design smaller (as needed)
- MAKE SURE GLOVES ARE ON
- Place into sublimation machine
- Place paper between the heat plate and t-shirt (to prevent iron from getting ruined)
- Clamp shirt once it clicks in apply light pressure
- Done when machine beeps after 30 seconds
- Slowly unclamp
- Remove carefully (final step)
- DONE!
