About the Machine
The Heat Press is a machine that allows the user to print full-color custom designs on a variety of materials such as t-shirts, masks, and mousepads. The heat press connects to one of our Sawgrass sublimation printers to access the desired custom design. It also has a complimentary mug press, allowing the user to print full-color custom designs on mugs. For the best results, use 100% polyester t-shirts and sweatshirts for the heat press.
Both machines can be used by Sacred Heart University students, staff, and faculty.
We have two heat presses and one mug press at the SHU IDEA Lab.
Specifications
The heat press itself is 15″ x 15″ and can have a maximum heat of 399°F.
