Tutorials & Training: Sublimation Printing

Sublimation is a printing technique which uses heat to transfer ink onto many different materials. Materials such as t-shirts, mousepads, mugs, masks and many other materials in which images and personal designs can be printed on.

To be allowed to use the sublimation printers, you must watch all training videos, 100% the required quiz, and perform a test print to show that you are able to use the machines safely

Training Videos:

Step 1: Creative Studio & Sawgrass printing

  • The video will display how to create a design & print

Step 2: Sublimation heat press

  • This video will display a step by step run down of how to transfer sublimation designs

Take the Quiz!

  1. What fabric material must be used for sublimation printing?
  2. Where can you find a guide to help assist with what setting the temperature and time needs to be set to?
  3. How do you know when the sublimation press is securely pressed down?
