About the Machine
The Ultimaker S5 is the latest 3D printer from Ultimaker. The printer can be heavily modified for a wide range of different types of prints. This printer uses plastic spools, called filament to create 3D objects.
The Sacred Heart University IDEA Lab allows students, faculty, and staff to use our Ultimaker S5 printers, with many different color PLA filaments to choose from.
We have four Ultimaker S5 printers at the SHU IDEA Lab.

– Dual extruders for multi-colored prints
– Requires 2.85mm diameter filament
– Materials: PLA only
– Build volume of 330 x 240 x 300 mm or 13 x 9.4 x 11.8 inches
