Vinyl Cutter

About the Machine

The vinyl cutter can be used to cut small intricate designs onto vinyl to create stickable prints. These stickers can be small or large and have been used to create logos, signage around the lab, and fun designs. The cutter is connected to one of the computers at the IDEA Lab, which contains the software needed to create these designs and upload them to the cutter. For the best results, the vinyl is placed on transfer paper prior to being used.

This machine can be used by Sacred Heart University students, staff, and faculty.

We have two vinyl cutters at the SHU IDEA Lab.

Specifications

The vinyl cutter itself is 33.5″ (W) × 12.2 “(D) × 9.17″ (H). It can be loaded with material between 2″ and 27.5”. The machine has a maximum cutting area of 984.25″ (L) x 22.9″ (W).
